The Location Transfer Jobs section allows you to manage the movement of stock between different locations. This is useful for redistributing inventory across warehouses, stores, or storage areas. This is different from Stock Transfers where the stocks are transferred immediately.
From this section, you can:
- Create new transfer jobs to move stocks from one location to another
- Update received stock once the transfer has been completed
This ensures inventory level remain accurate across all locations.
Accessing Location Transfer Jobs
- Open your Dashboard
- Go to Inventory > Location Transfer Jobs
Add New Location Transfer Job
To add new location transfer job, click on the '+' button
The following fields are required to create a transfer job
In the example above, 5 quantity of Logitech Mouse is transferred from East Outlet to North Outlet.
After saving, you will be prompted to choose between Save Only and Save & Ready
- Save Only - Saves your changes. The transfer job remains editable for further modifications.
- Save & Ready - Confirms that the stock is ready to be transferred to the destination location. The job will move to the next stage of the transfer process.

Update Receive stocks
To update received stocks:
- Select the transfer job
- Update the received Quantity for each item
In the example above, North Outlet received 5 units of Logitech Mouse, they should update the Received Quantity field to 5.
Once updated, the system will complete the transfer.
Delete Location Transfer Job
To remove a transfer job:
- Select the job(s) to delete
- Click on More Actions
- Select Delete Selected
Note:
Once deleted, the quantities from completed transfer jobs will be reversed.
In the example above, items from Location Job Transfer #5 will be reverted.
Exporting Location Transfer Job
To export transfer jobs to an Excel file:
- Select the transfer jobs to export
- Select Export Selected
An Excel file containing the selected transfer job data will be generated
Importing Location Transfer Job
The import feature allows adding or updating transfer jobs quickly
- Prepare an Excel file containing the required transfer job data
- Click on More Actions
- Select Import File
- Upload your Excel file
The system will automatically create new transfer jobs or update existing ones based on the provided information.
Notes:
- The import feature allows adding or updating one transfer job at a time.
- Leave the
Transfer Job IDfield blank to create a new job.- Providing a
Transfer Job IDwill update the existing transfer job with that ID.- Always review and verify the Excel file before importing to ensure all data are accurate, complete, and correctly formatted to prevent errors during import.
