The Brands section is used to categorise items by their manufacturer. This can be helpful for organising and managing your products. By grouping items by their brand, you can make it easier to browse and search for specific items.
To set up your Brands, open your Dashboard and head over to
Inventory > Brands
Adding New Brands
To add a new brand, click on the '+' button
You will need to provide the details for the following fields
The breakdown of the fields are as follow
Field | Usage |
Name | The name of the brand |
Image | The image for the brand |
Deleting of Brands
To delete existing brands, select the brands that you want to delete, followed by the "trash" icon. This will remove the selected brands from the system.
In the example above, the brand 'Apple' will be removed.
Exporting of Brands
You can export the list of brands that you have configured to an Excel file by clicking the "export" icon and then selecting "Export Data". This will generate a file containing the relevant data, which you can then save and use as needed.
Importing of Brands
You can use the "Import Data" feature to quickly and easily add/update large number of brands in the system. To do this, you will need to upload an Excel file containing the relevant data, and the system will use this data to update the brands accordingly.
Note: You will have to use the same Excel template format in order to update the data.
