The Brands section lets you organize items by manufacturer. Grouping products by brand makes it easier to browse, search, and manage inventory.

Accessing Brands

1. Open your Dashboard
2. Navigate to Inventory > Brands

Add New Brands

To add a new brand, click on the '+' button

The following fields are required to create a brand

Delete Brands

To remove a brand:

1. Select the brand(s) to delete
2. Click on More Actions
3. Select Delete Selected
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Note: 

Deleting a brand cannot be undone, and any products associated with it may be affected.

In the example above, the brand Apple will be removed.

Export Brands

To export brands to an Excel file:

1. Click on More Actions
2. Select Export Data

An Excel file containing all brand information will be generated for saving or further use.

Import Brands

The Import Data feature allows adding or updating of multiple brands at once:

1. Prepare an Excel file containing the brand information.
2. Click on More Actions
3. Select Import Data
4. Upload your Excel file

The system will automatically add new brands or update existing ones based on the data in your file

Notes

• Leave the brand_id field blank to create a new brand.
• Providing a brand_id will update the existing brand with that ID.
• Always review and verify the Excel file before importing to ensure all data are accurate, complete, and correctly formatted to prevent errors during import.
