The Stocks Additions section is used to add stocks to your inventory. This can be useful to keep track of the stocks coming in.
To access Stock Additions, open your Dashboard and head over to
Inventory > Stock Additions
Add New Stock Additions
To add a new stock addition, click on the '+' button
You will need provide the details for the following fields
The breakdown of the fields are as follow
Field | Usage |
Ref. PO ID | The purchase order ID if any |
Currency | The currency of the items |
Currency Value | The currency value for the items. This will be automatically updated based on the currency selected |
Comment |
Any additional details or information that you want to save to this record. |
Items | |
Item | The list of items being added |
Location |
The location in which the items items are being added to. Note: The number beside the location is the current stock available at that location. |
Add Quantity | The quantity to add for that item |
Cost | The cost price of the items added |
Deleting of Stock Additions
To delete existing stock additions record, select the stock additions that you want to delete, followed by the "trash" icon. This will remove the selected stock additions from the system.
In the example above, the stock addition #6 will be removed
Note: It's important to note that deleting a stock addition record will also remove the corresponding stock from your inventory. This means that the quantity of that item in your inventory will be reduced accordingly
Exporting of Stock Additions
You can export the list of stock additions to an Excel file by clicking the "export" icon and then selecting "Export Data". This will generate a file containing the relevant data, which you can then save and use as needed.
Importing of Stock Additions
You can use the "Import Data" feature to quickly and easily add/update large number of stock additions in the system. To do this, you will need to upload an Excel file containing the relevant data, and the system will use this data to update the stock additions accordingly.
Note: Each Excel file can only handle one stock addition record (with its associated items). This means that if you want to import multiple stock addition records at once, you will need to create a separate Excel file for each record.
