The Locations section allows you to organise stocks across different storage areas - such as warehouses, storerooms, or retail outlets. Assigning items to specific locations helps track inventory more accurately and manage stock movements more efficiently.
Accessing Locations
- Open your Dashboard
- Go to Inventory > Locations
Add New Locations
To add a new location, click on the '+' button
The following fields are required to create a location
| Field | Required | Usage |
| Name | Yes | Name of the location |
| Stocks Warning Level | Yes | Default warning level for all items. Quantity will be highlighted yellow if it falls below this level |
| Stocks Danger Level | Yes | Default danger level for all items. Quantity will be highlighted red if it falls below this level |
Delete Locations
To remove locations from Inventory:
- Select the location(s) to delete
- Click on Delete Selected
Note:
Once deleted, all item stocks associated with that location will also be removed. This means the inventory quantity for those items will decrease accordingly.
In the example above, the location North Outlet will be removed.
