The Options section allows management of all options in the inventory. New options can be added, existing ones updated, and the overall option list organized effectively.
Accessing Options
- Open your Dashboard
- Go to Inventory > Options
Add New Options
To add new options, click on the '+' button
The following fields are required to create an option

| 1. | Name | Yes | Name of your option (e.g. Spice Level) |
| 2. | Minimum Selections | Yes | Minimum number of option values that must be selected |
| 3. | Maximum Selections | Yes | Maximum number of option values that can be selected |

| 4. | Value Label | Yes | Name of your option value (e.g. Level 5, Level 4) |
| 5. | Linked Item | Optional | Link your inventory item to the option value. Stock quantity will be subtracted accordingly. |
| 6. | Price | Yes | Additional price for selecting this option value (set to 0 if none) |
| 7. | Minimum Selections | Yes | Minimum number for this option value if selected |
| 8. | Maximum Selections | Yes | Maximum number for this option value if selected |
| 9. | Default Selection | Yes | Default number of this option value assigned when selected (cannot be lower than Minimum Selections) |
| 10. | Image | Optional | Image for this option value |
Delete Options
To remove option(s) from inventory:
- Select the option(s) to delete
- Click on More Actions
- Select Delete Selected
Note:
Once deleted, the option is permanently removed from the system
In the example above, the option Takeaway will be removed.
Export Options
To export your list of options:
- Click on More Actions
- Select Export Data
An Excel file containing your option data will be generated.
You can specify the requirements for the options to be exported.
Import Options
The import feature allows quick addition or updating of multiple options:
- Prepare an Excel file with the required option data
- Click on More Actions
- Select Import Data
- Upload your Excel file
The system will automatically create new options or update existing ones based on the provided information.
Notes:
- Leave the
option_idfield blank to create new options- Providing an
option_idoroption_value_idwill update the corresponding existing options or option values.- Always review and verify the Excel file before importing to ensure all data are accurate, complete, and correctly formatted to prevent errors during import.
