Payment Methods allow you to define how payments are handled and trigger specific actions when selected during checkout.
Accessing Payment Methods
- Open your Dashboard
- Navigate Settings > Payment Methods
Add New Payment Method
To create a new payment method:
- Click the '+' button
- Enter the required payment method details
| Field | Required | Usage |
| Name | Yes | The name of this payment method. |
| Channel Group | Optional | Restrict this payment method to the list of channels in the selected channel group. |
| Default Order Status | Yes | Configure the default order status when the order is added or edited. |
| Default Credit Note Status | Yes | Configure the default credit note status when the credit note is added or edited. |
| Sort Order | Yes | Configure the arrangement of the payment methods. |
| Number Pad | Yes | Configure whether to show the number pad when this payment method is used. |
| Split Screen Display | Optional | Configure the split screen popup upon order completion. |
Delete Payment Method
To delete a payment method:
- Select the payment method(s) you want to remove
- Click Delete Selected
In the example above, the payment method AMEX will be removed.
Important:
- Deleting a payment method does not affect existing orders
- Only remove payment methods that are no longer in use
