Currencies

Equotix One supports multiple currencies and automatically fetches exchange rates online to ensure accurate and up-to-date values

 

Accessing Currencies

  1. Open your Dashboard
  2. Navigate to Settings > Currencies

 

Fetch Currency Rates

To manually fetch the latest currency rates, click on the refresh button

If there are any changes to the exchange rates, they will be automatically reflected in the system.

 

Add New Currency

To add a new currency, click on the '+' button

Field Required Usage
Currency Code Yes

The currency code which would be used to retrieve the value.

Do refer to the list of available currency codes available

Symbol Left Optional The left symbol of the price
Symbol Right Optional The right symbol of the price
Decimal Place Yes The number of decimal place for the currency
Value Yes

The rate of the configured currency. This field can be left empty if you do not know the rate of the currency.

Set the value to 1 if you intend to use this currency as your default currency.

Note: 

Do not assign a fixed value to the currency as it will be overwritten when the new rates are being fetched.

 

Delete of Currency

To delete a currency

  1. Select the currency to delete
  2. Click on More Actions
  3. Select Delete Selected

In the example above, AUD will be removed.

Note: 

You will not be able to delete the currency that is configured as your company's default currency. You will have to change the default currency to a different currency before you are able to delete it.
