Recommended Hawker POS Setup Principles

Before diving in, here are a few best practices for hawker environments

• Keep item name short and clear
• Use options instead of creating multiple duplicate items
• Price differences should be handled via options, not separate items
• Group similar items together for quick access

1. Creating Your Items (Main Dishes)

Each menu item should be created as a single item in Equotix One.

Example Menu

• Chicken Rice
• Laksa
• Wanton Mee
• Char Kway Teow

Steps

1. Go to Dashboard
2. Navigate to Inventory > Items
3. Click the '+' (Add Item) button
