The Customer section is used to manage your customers from your sales channels.
Note: If you use a sales channel other than OpenCart, it's recommended that you create a customer manually (e.g. Lazada Customer, Shopee Customer) to track sales from those platforms to a customer account. This is because these platforms obfuscate customer data, making it impossible to tie down to a specific customer.
To view your customers, open your Dashboard and head over to
Sales > Customers
Add New Customers
To add new customers, click on the '+' button
You will need to provide the details for the following fields
The breakdown of the fields are as follow
Field | Usage |
First Name | First name of the customer |
Last Name | Last name of the customer |
Company | Company of the customer |
Customer Group | Customer group of the customer |
Email address of the customer. Must be unique. | |
Telephone | Telephone number of the customer. Must be unique. |
Card Number | Membership card number of the customer, if available. |
Deleting of Customer
To delete existing customers, select the customers that you want to delete, followed by the "trash" icon. This will remove the selected customers from the system.
In the example above, the customers 'Bob' and 'Tim' will be removed.
