The Customer section is used to manage customers from all your connected sales channels.
Accessing Customers
- Open your Dashboard
- Navigate to Sales > Customers
Note:
If you use sales channels other than OpenCart (for example, Lazada or Shopee), it is recommended that you manualy create a customer record (e.g. Lazada Customer, Shopee Customer) to track customer record (e.g. Lazada Customer, Shopee Customer) to track orders from those platforms.
These platforms mask customer details, which makes it impossible to link orders to a specific individual customer.
Add New Customers
To add new customers, click on the '+' button
The following fields are required to create a customer

| First Name | Yes | First name of the customer |
| Last Name | Yes | Last name of the customer |
| Company | Optional | Company of the customer |
| Customer Group | Yes | Customer group of the customer |
| Yes | Email address of the customer. Must be unique | |
| Telephone | Yes | Telephone number of the customer. Must be unique |
| Card Number | Optional | Membership card number of the customer, if available |
| Newsletter (Email) | Yes | Email newsletter status of the customer |
| Newsletter (SMS) | Yes | SMS newsletter status of the customer |
Delete Customer
To remove a customer:
- Select the customer(s) to delete
- Click on Delete Selected
In the example above, the customer Jane Doe and John Smith will be removed.
