The Packing Assistant extensions provides an overview of the items that need to be packed for each order. It helps ensure that the correct items and quantities are packed before an order is shipped. Packing Assistant works hand in hand with Shipping to ensure that your orders are packed correctly.
Accessing Packing Assistant
- Open your Dashboard
- Navigate to Integrations > Extensions
- Go to the Modules Tab
- Select Packing Assistant
Getting Started
To start using packing assistant:
- Enter the Order Number into the search field
- Packing Assistant will automatically retrieve and display the order details
As you pack items:
- If the packed quantity does not match the purchased quantity, the product image will be highlighted with a red border.
- A warning prompt will appear if you attempt to complete packing with incorrect quantities.
Barcode Scanner Support
Note: If a barcode scanner is connected, you can scan items directly to update the packed quantity automatically. Ensure that the item search field is selected before scanning.
Settings
Packing Assistant includes configurable settings to match your workflow.

| Menu Shortcut | Optional | Display packing assistant on the menu (Will be displayed as Extensions > Packing Assistant) |
| Auto Complete Packing | Optional | Complete Packing is automatically done if order items are all successfully scanned. |
| Complete Packing Timer | Optional | The number of seconds to wait before packing is automatically completed when feature is enabled. |
